The 1st Mozilla Campus tour project in Basilan island was a success, last January 22,2013 at the Basilan State College Gymnasium. More than 150 participants from their department including their professors and school President attended the event. The event started around 1:00pm and me as one of their invited guest introduce the Mozilla projects and demo some products showing them Mozilla is not just a browser.
I also have the opportunity to bring some Mozilla student representative from Zamboanga and discuss some Mozilla projects.
Mr. Chester Austine Chan, an Mozilla student volunteer from Southern City Colleges who discuss and share his experience regarding Mozilla Student Representative and Volunteer.
And lastly, we have Ms. Fermelita Bago, who is also one of our active Mozilla student volunteer and also from Southern City Colleges, she discuss more on Localization (l10n) and introduce the localization effort of Chavacano module for Firefox Aurora.
Event ends around 5:30PM and as an output from our event ,they are willing to host more event from Mozilla and we recruited more than 56 students who is willing to volunteer.
